Chances are that you didn't turn off the google result filter. But really, don't; you are majorly under aged anyway.
if i didnt turn off the google result filter, then why could i have still seen elfin lied porn?

If you turned on the Google filter on, you will not see any porn if you search. Unless you are looking for them...

Ahh Elfen lied, great anime.. Kan showed it to me, and it was great. aside from the violence and stuff, everything was fine. Maybe lacked some more those kind of actions. :D

Cheers!

Eh, if you google Bleach or Naruto, you get porn on the first page too, so that doesn't really say much.

However, there is nudity in Elfen Lied even in the show. It is also one of the most graphically and psychologically violent cartoons I've ever seen, hence not suitable for youngsters; not to mention the story is rather depressing.

But I just love its story after the initial "wtf" shock factor. So much that it makes it my favourite show. :) Also partly because Lucy very much reminds me of a more brutal version of Lunair.

(Edit: Sorry, I deleted that long big empty space in your post. :p )

Elfen lied is awesome.
*Sniff* And so sad ;_;

*shoo* :p One who hasn't watched the whole series about it shall not judge.

See if she likes it after she watches it.

(You can find all the episodes on www.stage6.com , search "Elfen Lied Episode" )

It's a great story.  Yes, lots of nudity and graphic violence.  But there is no pornography.  And maybe all that violence is necessary to express how different Lucy (of sadistic nature) is from Nyu (loving, caring, blah blah).  It's like a contrast.  On one side, you see this sad love story (which end I still don't know... as I am watching episode 7 just now).  On the other side, you get a story about... well, I will quote the Wikipedia:

Quote
...social alienation, identity, revenge and the value of humanity...

And so on...

Now if you excuse me, I want to finish this.  :D

Edit:  I notice that the graphical violence is actually to express the nature of this entire new race, more than just Lucy's.

On the technical side, I found some issues.  The animations are not perfect, in some bits.  And sometimes the poses seemed very unnatural, especially with the legs... looking as if they were made of rubber.  But it wasn't very often, so I don't mind.  :P  Just a comment.

:'> Go go go. I liked the second half the most, although that might be because I was familiar with the characters by then.

I can see them!  I can see them!  :P

The resemblances between Elfen Lied and Quintessence: The Blighted Venom.  ^_^  But don't get me wrong!  It's great!

The second part is definitely better.  More emotive.  And again, don't get me wrong.  It's not that I hate Nyu, but sometimes I really dislike her.  I prefer Lucy.  It's not that I like suffering, but... by nature, I feel more identified with troubled characters.  Lonely people, people who have suffered a lot.  :/  Characters like Lunair, Lucy, Arwym and Deirdre, the last two being my own... well, I just like them better.

Thanks for showing me the series!

(Still on ep. 9... almost wanting to cry...)

I definitely like Lucy better as well. Nyu got kinda old after a while, to be honest; but it's a part of the story, so *shrug*.

I just watched the last two episodes again and I still cried. D:
By the way, the series chronologically ends at 13, episode 14 takes time between 10 and 11.
