Help! What does this sentence mean?

Quote
Dr. Rosalene:
"You know, I've been rather impressed."

Dr. Watts:
"What for?"

Dr. Rosalene:
"Well, back in the days, you kept on yelling dumb juvenilities when shooting the barriers."
"But recently, I haven't heard any 'hadouken' or 'kamehameha' or whatnot."

Dr. Rosalene:
"It's been rather. . . pleasant, and professional."

Dr. Watts:
"Oh. . . Mm-hm."

Sorry I am not a native English speaker so I have got very confused about this one.

Quote
Dr. Rosalene:
"Nothing, I guess I was expecting you to start saying dumb things again."

Does Eva like these 'hadouken' things?

It's the opposite. She's saying that it was "pleasant and professional" because Neil is behaving and not "saying dumb."
