Music that sounds like Kan's music
« on: May 13, 2015, 01:40:29 PM »
Have you ever heard some music and thought, "Wow, this sounds like something from Reives, the good old cheeky writer musician game creator?" Post all such music here. I'll start:

2027 Ending 3 Music (Vladimir)

The music sounds like some of the tunes Kan makes for happier or triumphant sounding music, especially with how it start with a simple sample of repeating tunes, and then builds up on them with some high note instruments and one note instruments to progress the music.

Well it sounds like it, but I think it would be even more ditto if it started slowly with piano or something :P
Videogame developers are not gods that anyone should worship. I hereby decide that is my top existential reason to prove that horrible, horrible misconception, because that is becoming annoyingly rampant in every corner of the internet.  They can deserve critism, or thrashing even. It doesn't even need to be constructive critism. And even if you are a free game developer doesn't mean community is your personal ego farm.

Maybe it's just me, but when I first watched Clannad, a lot of the songs reminded me of the music from TtM and DYRM Lullaby.

That certainly sounds a lot like Kan's music. I wouldn't be surprised if he were inspired by it. If that soundtrack has a lot of songs like that, it must be a very good soundtrack.

I agree.

Edit:
Meanwhile, I feel the need to point out a few mentions as well:

These sound similar to Kan's stuff as well. And I love them.
