The PS+ for online gaming would've been a very controversial issue for Sony if Xbox hadn't buried themselves so bad that it looks like a steal in comparison XD

Yeah, they just kinda slipped it by while everyone was circlejerking about xbone. ;D It's kinda crappy, but I'm not complaining. PS+ is pretty damn awesome, and cheap. You get a bunch of free games, and most of the stuff you do pay for is cheaper. Having to pay for multiplayer isn't great, but it's justified. I'll probably get it if I find a game I wanna play online.

With all this I wonder how is possible for Apple market share to go down when Microsoft itself is like destroying it's foot-ground right know in scale of Death Star.

To do something right is not "wow they really hate us now.... we probably should back on that". It's to not doing it in a first place.

I don't think it would be impossible to have cloud gaming (or whatever) that would not require 24 hours internet connection. Steam works offline as well you dork... -.-

All I'm saying is they took the right step, if they're thinking about not making people hate them even more. I don't care either way. I'd choose the next-gen that offers the most jrpgs anyway. And that's only if I'm even going to buy one.

All I'm saying is they took the right step, if they're thinking about not making people hate them even more.

I agree. I've seen a lot of people saying that this complete turnaround was a bad decision, but I have to disagree. It will get them more customers, that's for sure. But I noticed during E3 that there was a lot of talk that the Xbox One was "build around drm", and it was even stated that it would be impossible to reverse that. So... here's what I'm thinking:

Either Microsoft was lying to their customers, and the drm is actually easy to remove.

Or...

It actually is really difficult to remove, and now they've got programmers working their butts off.

So in option A, Microsoft has proven that they're untrustworthy, or B, they're now rushing to build a console from scratch. Both are pretty bad news.

It seems that they're trying to emulate everything the PS4 is doing right, and if they're rushing it, well they stand no chance. You can't make a rushed copy of something, then charge $100 more for it.

I'm yet to buy an xbox console, and I doubt this gen will be any different.
