As far as I like fandom I don't really think that you can pull TtM with cast of MLP... Other than that the video is of really good quality. :)

It should be Rainbow Dash is, Rainbow Dash's is possession, what you're saying is that Rainbow Dash owns dying.
Old River was as dead as a doornail, this must be distinctly understood or nothing wonderful can come of the story I am about to relate.

It should be Rainbow Dash is, Rainbow Dash's is possession, what you're saying is that Rainbow Dash owns dying.

But you can shorten "it is" to "it's" so on that logic surely you could say "Rainbow Dash's" instead of "Rainbow Dash is". People would definitely pronounce "Rainbow Dash is" as "Rainbow Dash's".

An actual example is that you can pronounce "John is going down the pub" as "John's going down the pub" so I would say that using "apostrophe s" after a name instead of "is" is widely accepted. Apostrophes aren't just used for possession with names.

EDIT - With more of a reason why names have two uses for "apostrophe s":

"His" is a possessive pronoun and is therefore used instead of "he's" to show ownership as a rule; however, "he is" would be shortened to "he's".
Since a name does not have a possessive form it uses "apostrophe s" both to show ownership as well as using it to shorten the "is". For example:

Possessive:
"His beer".
"John's beer".

Contracting "is":
"He is an alcoholic" to "He's an alcoholic".
"John is an Alcoholic" to "John's an alcoholic".

I like how the characters do kinda fit (maybe except for Pinkie Pie as medical doctor and Rainbow Dash as John) ^^

Never listen to them, they only lie. A bit like with the I before E rule they told me, as it turns out there are more exceptions to the rule than occasions that obey it. :P
