Is there any way TtM 2 will be on it's own stand alone engine? (Not RPG maker.) It seems like it would be best this way, it could have an actual options menu (not the simple F1 menu) to change things like resolution, brightness, sound volume and things like that.
I know it's very hard to make a game engine, but it seems RPG maker XP is outdated.
Please note that I am an outside observer with next to no information on how the game actually works, so my opinion is highly biased and I don't really know what I'm talking about. Please don't take offense.

It just seems like it would be easier to put it on Steam, and you could make more changes to it than possible in RPGMXP.
