Softrock-ish experiment!
« on: October 05, 2008, 07:25:47 PM »
Was playing around with the guitar soundfont, ended up making a little "demo" song thingy. Here it is:

Pretty generic.^
First time with this genre, and it's pretty fun/relatively easy to write compared to orchestral stuff.

it's ok, but sounds awkward at many places, like when the overdrive guitar first came in. there's a part near the end that I really like though. when the cord changes and a tiny cymbal clash or something like that.

Not a fan of how that guitar sounds. It's way too overdriven for my taste. Though it's not a bad tune, at all, just not anything I'd listen to anyhow :P

Need scripting help? Toss me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
Also able to help with anything RMXP related. Please do not hesitate to ask.

Yeah it's pretty overpowering. o: I think I might play around with it some more later and do something with it. It's pretty much just an experiment though, maybe I'll do make something serious in the future in that genre.
