Poetry (inspired by Characters of Quintessence)
« on: October 03, 2008, 09:42:53 AM »
Sort of inspired by Lunair :-\

Lunairs Plea

Love flowers,
At all time,
In all places,
But where does she last,
Through all fights,
In all crisis,
In know of no such place,

All I know is hate,
Lurkin in shadows,
Awating me wherever I go,
Never shall I ever find,
What others have,
So easily.

Above all,
Awaits the essence,
To analihate those,
Who inherit it.

Please forgive Grammatical states since my Mother tongue is German. There is also a german Poem, but I guess actually none of you would understand it  :whaaa?:

Please add other poems and criticise^^

Squall's German, and Silek knows German I think (unless, you actually meant to say you speak an obscure language called Germa...), I think I know enough to be able to appreciate the original.

Please post the translation?
This might hurt, it's not safe / But I know that I've gotta make a change / I don't care if I break,
At least I'll be feeling something

I want to learn German. x:
I like this; even though it's a translation and has some spelling/grammatical issues, it still rings with me. Does the original one rhyme and stuff? I mean I know that it's not necessary for poetry, but just curious.

Just wanted to note that in English, it's not clear that the 'she' in the first stanza directs back to 'love.' Either change the 'she' to 'it', or otherwise make it more clear what it refers to.

The original is quite different from the English version^^

Note, well actually I want you to think about what is meant with "she"  ;)

Oh and by the way If you want to use these Poetry in some Form in your Projects our in anyotherway. Feel free, BUT write me an PM and put me in the Credits.

Well the original rhymes, but I like the English better. Actually it is not a Translation, but a different way of looking at the Character of Lunair.

Ok here ist another one that came up while Composing a Duett for Flute and Guitar. Guess where I was inspired;-)

Fly away

Open your wings and fly away,
Listen,
Your heart,
It wanders afar,

Searching the skyes for joyful blue,
Thinking,
Of Love,
As Angels Cry,

Wandering up above our Sky,
Listen,
A Song,
Carrys you on,

Over dying Worlds, Vasted Lands,
So lone,
And Free,
Above all hope,

There is always,
Something...

It's beautiful. I wish I can write a music to go with this hehe.
I believe in the existence of extraterrestrials.

I hope so^^

Ok another one has no actual title;-), but inspired by the "love pill" scene:

The last moon is rising,
Bathing the pool in silver light,
Hiding all treacherous fear,
Giving peace to the Haunted,
For once in their live,

A perfect circle,
On darkend sky,
So heavenly cool,
That all stars flee,
Twinkling faintly,
In his pass,

The last Moon is Rising,
Reminding the hate,
That wanders freely,
Above the world,
Waiting for its day,
To come.
