Are you sure you didn't mean to ask "do you like looking at pictures with anime characters cooking" instead?  :P

I enjoy cooking from time to time, and creating pretentious dish designs which mimic the things I see on Food Network. It's pretty relaxing, but only once a while. . . or it becomes a chore.

Reives, you didn't vote!

I like cooking, but I'm also lazy. Generally, if I'm cooking, it's when everybody else is gone (so I don't have to make a lot of stuff; this also means that I don't have to do it too often, cuz, like Reives said, that does become a chore then). Usually, though, when I DO cook, I get really creative and it's lots of fun :D Some of my favorite stuff to make are omelettes and various chicken-type things.

Oh, and I grill a lot, but that's so easy it hardly counts :P

That first picture of the boy with the kung fu cooking look reminds me of an anime watched long long time ago. :o

Lol, and I like cooking. Mom cooks lots of yummy food, so often when she's cooking I sneak around to watch what she does and such. She lets me help too so that's why it's fun to cook cause you can learn, spend time with family and take the first bite of everything cooked. <3 There's always that saying, "There's magic in the kitchen. All you need is you and your nose." Haha!

I also like cooking, but I don't cook that often. I prefer simple meals over extravagant ones and most of the time I'm just beein creative with what I find in a fridge. I also from time to time try to experiment which mostly turns out into something that Narusegawa Naru-san would cook, but it's same as in her case and it tastes good (like last time when I tried chocolate omelete).
Yesterday I for example tried to add cheese into dumplings, with salami and scrambled eggs which turned out into good combination. ^^

@Reives: I used these pictures as an example. :P You know that my obsession with anime is like Mep and Touhou... Maybe more.

@Vasha: Grill may be more tricky than you could think. ;) Especially if you use lava stone plate.

@BAE: Well I also need hands and my tongue for that. ^^

I just used sugar instead of salt and added cocoa powder into scrambledeggs and the made omelete from it. I didn'thad actual chocolate, but I think it can be used as well.

As a matter of taste yes but as a matter of how it looked...

Hm, interesting. I might have to try it some time :D (Wait, you said you used sugar instead of salt, right? Did you use pepper?)

My brother got a Sandwich grill for Christmas, and it makes pretty great quesadillas :D Today I made one, but I put half of a leftover bratwurst in one. It was pretty good. The texture of chicken was better, but the spices in the bratwurst were an interesting combination with what I usually put in my quesedillas.

Nope. I used only eggs sugar and cocoa powder. That's all. If you use cocoa powder it's difficult to mix with eggs. (To me the taste was similar to pancakes)

Oh that pic's looking delicius. *drool*

I like to try to cook, but I haven't completely learned all the skills.

(
Oh, you spelled "Do" wrong in the title.)

To me, cooking proves the true-ness of Mark Twain's statement everything's fun you don't have to do, and everything's boring you have to do. Basically, if my parents ask me to make something I usually regard it as a chore, but if I discover some extravagant-looking recipe I'll happily spend hours on it.
As to the quiz-well, I'm unable to cook without a recipe, so I guess that means I technically can't cook? D:

Is that what it means? Would the opposite hold true? If you couldn't follow a recipe but could make good food adding ingredients on whim, would you be a good or bad cook?

I just cooked a homemade pizza (homemade crust!) with mozzarella, tomatoes, potatoes, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, and pesto sauce (not homemade pesto...). Turned out super delicious, no recipe required. Then I made pina coladas. I suppose that's as much "cooking" as making smoothies is.
