...because I don't have enough to do.

Anyways, looking at Blood Angel Evangelion's fanart "Lunair is Modern" made me think of doing a short (1-2 hours long) spin-off game of Quintessence set in a modern high school or college. Kind of like Drunk Attorney for Ethereal Dreams.

Spoiler: The Storyline (As It Currently Stands) • show
Lunair is a new student at Quintessence High. She very quickly gets a reputation for being cold and stuck-up. Serai especially dislikes her after Lunair coldly resists her (admittedly lukewarm) attempts to be friendly. A full day passes, consisting of Math where she meets Vikon, P.E. with Salory where she gets injured and meets Kaire, Science where she meets Eshe, Lunch where she overhears people talking about her, Orchestra with Reivier where they discover they both like the classical song To Realize (making Reivier the first person to treat her with real warmth), Art with Serai, and...some other class I'm not sure of yet. In each class, there would be minigames/puzzles, etc.
-Afterschool, Lunair exits school and notices a commotion- a group of boys is harrassing Vikon. Salory defends him and scares the boys off. Salory notices Lunair watching her and yells at her. (Salory already dislikes Lunair by now, it should be noted). Lunair, slightly ashamed but more angry, walks away.
-The player is given freedom to explore the town. I'm thinking unlockable NPCs could be used. There could also be a timer so that the player can't explore indefinitely (maybe an hour is 15 minutes or so, and once it hits 10 she has to return home). The player doesn't have to explore, though: returning home and sleeping skips to the next day.
-Next day. The classes are the same, continuations of what occured the day before, with new minigames and situations and stuff.
-During Lunch, the principal (Kardian) makes an announcement- Kaire is terminally ill. This news is greeted with a flutter of worries, and students begin talking about what to do. Lunair overhears Salory, Serai, Reivier and Vikon talking about a bakesale, and offers to help. Salory and Serai ignore her, but after some hesitation, Reivier accepts on behalf of the group. They make plans to meet after school (at a sushi bar or cafe?), as lunch is about over.
-Rest of the school day passes as above.
-They meet together and discuss. A shopping minigame could possibly occur, followed by a cooking minigame at Serai's house. Possibly a little more player freedom afterwards.
-The next day is the weekend. The bake sale occurs in the afternoon, meanwhile, Lunair must post posters of the bake sale at as many establishments as possible, some of which will ask for favors in return. The player can also explore quite a bit more- other classmates are also doing stuff for Kaire and otherwise. -The bake sale occurs. After that...I'm really not sure how to end. :P Maybe it could be something happy where they're all at the park or whatever- the park could look like the Quintessence cliff.
-If Reives allows the use of the Quintessence OST, wouldn't it be a lot of fun to have a Drift music video, modernized?

You make it, I'll play it, miss. :) Have you ever played Persona 3 or 4? I think a school setup like that would be easy and interesting. :-D

I try to avoid using music that isn't specifically made for others to use. So probably Quintessence music if Reives allows, otherwise, stuff from Sakari Infinity and other sites that create music for RM use.

But be aware that this game is second in my priorities, the one I'm collaborating on with talia comes first. So if I take a while, just know that I haven't abandoned it. :)

@ Raxus:
The length of the sleeves aren't consistent; they're shorter in the side views. Also, it seems she's a bit shorter from behind by a pixel. Another thing, the shoes don't look like they're changed at all from the front view to the back view. I don't think you should be able to see the skin from behind. Maybe if you lowered the pants by a pixel (not forgetting to lower the white shirt and jacket that are peeking out from behind her hair one pixel down, as well) to cover that area. Could kill two birds with 1 stone that way.

I'll try to do all of that, but in reality, I am just a beginner in spriting.

Maybe you could do better. You, Rayen, are, after all, the master spriter. Perhaps you could do a direct spriting job based on Blood Evangelion's drawing in the media section!!! 8D That'd be sweet!

Well, according to her, elements are Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Quintessence. I don't think modern scientists agree.

Are most of the images X's for anyone else, btw? I can only get them through that download package.

Oh and:

Possible Reivier the Student. Not sure if I'm entirely satisfied with it...thoughts?
