I'll get started then. Would you prefer a a brown-based tileset that seems more "manorly" or a blue/green based tileset that's more "castlely"? I have more brown-based tiles, so you'll have more freedom/detail if you go that route. (Assuming you like the tileset.... :seraisweat:)

Also:

It was supposed to be comic relief anyway (as seen by Ray going "Wow, that was fast") :P


You could achieve the same comedic affect by using the highest walk speed, while making it more realistic than teleportation.

Everyone is sleeping with their eyes open.


This good enough? Alternatively, ask an actual spriter to do this rather than a noob who's using a template. :P

This is absolutely nitpicking, so feel free to ignore, but the profiles would look a lot more professional if they were in a window called "Profiles" rather than in the items section.

Oh and one last thing: roughly what time period would this equal irl? So I know whether to add things like lamps or not.

Forgot to check that...I haven't used RMXP in forever.  :seraisweat:

But it was meant to check the template's quality anyways, so if it was good enough I could use it on the sprites which don't have a suitable down sprite.

I'm not too sure about that... Because after all, the player could speak to the person from any angle and thus the person might bump into the player on the way out. But if it bothers you that much...

@eyesopen: Many RPGs do do that *cough*Aveyond*cough* So I didn't find it much of a problem at first.

You can work around that by using the "Through ON/OFF" buttons.

Alright, here's a simple manor exterior, if you like it, I'll go ahead and make an interior. The tileset isn't too detailed because it's only going to be used for one map, right? If there's anything you want to remove/replace/add, just let me know and I'll see what I can do. If you dislike it, I'll just post it on the RM board, but otherwise, credit Venetia, Wyatt, Lillith, $t3v0, The Inquisitor, and ccoa. Don't credit me, as I didn't do anything but put it together.

Thanks, and I'll love an interior too. ^^ But the problem is that I don't know how to put it together in the database, with the priorities and passabilities and all those confusing things.

EDIT: Also, I don't know how to do scripting, so how do I add a profile section?

Thanks for the trouble :) One thing I'd definitely end up needing is the wall outline autotile, though ^^; Can't live without it hurr. And some vertical/horizontal stairs, since I'm not talented like Reives.

Can I also have the shadows of the external tileset removed as well, by the way? It stands out too much.

Not quite sure what you mean by this...? Wouldn't you add the autotile through the autotile, or are you asking for an autotile which would fit it?

Sorry I took so long on this, I was pretty busy throughout the week. Please let me know if there's anything you'd like me to add/remove/replace/edit, I didn't add as much as I could have since I wanted to finish it in a reasonable amount of time. Also, my computer with RMXP on it broke down so idk if there are any issues with it in RMXP, please let me know if there are.
