I attempted the rabbit, the first one I completed ended up being lame (He couldn't stand up), I ended up making several (or half a dozen) lame rabbits.... No matter what I do I cannot get the ears and the feet right!

I wanted to post this earlier but forgot...

If you print this and fold right, this should give you a blue rabbit with yellow body. Backside of the paper should be completely blue. The biggest problem is that you'll need thick paper and an ink printer - Laser printed surface give white stripes when folded, and thin paper won't work well if you have to print both sides.

If someone knows a good way to print yellow on blue paper, please do tell me - this would cut down alot on ink costs and would work with thinner paper.

I decided to try one more time. I've even recorded the process and made a gif out of it. Here's the result of my 4-hours work. You can treat it as a guide.

These two took me about 5 and a half hours to make.  White one came first just to get the feel for it and the two-toned rabbit came next.  They are both so very cute.  My friend suggested I make more white rabbits and fill them in a room somewhere lol.

It took me a long time figuring out how to do step 14.. I had to reference the gif's, youtube, the instructional pictures and read through all 13 pages of this thread in case someone posted more instructions.  After I got through step 14 everything else was more clear to me.

I noticed that my rabbits don't have the hind legs sticking out like some of the other rabbits though.  I must have did something wrong along the way.  My rabbits weren't standing properly at first.  I just flattened and spread their legs out a bit more and popped up the paper flap just above their feet to keep the legs spread.  They feel very sturdy now after that.

Eeeek! I am so excited, and nervous to try this. My husband played TtM a couple of weeks ago, and then promptly had me watch a video play through of someone playing so I could see the story. Our anniversary is tomorrow [he's on a business trip though so I have more time to get it done!], I want to make him one of these rabbits. I also got him a small platypus stuffed animal.

Anyway, here are my questions. When I print out Ric's template, the two separate images mean I need to print double sided, right? And I assume the designs need to line up front to back?

Also, Which way does the paper need to be when I start? I'm nervous! someone come do this for me... :]
