Good new RM games?
« on: June 22, 2010, 02:14:47 PM »
Heya guys. It's been a bit since I had a lengthy RM-ing session, and I feel a bit rusty. As I'm about to sweatshop-labour on my projects again, I think it might be a good idea to get back in the game by playing some good RM games first.

As I haven't been kept up to date to the RM community, what're some good new projects that popped up? Preferably good on atmosphere too, but anything goes. c: Thanks!

Rainblood - Town of Death looks pretty good to me. It surely doesn't lack atmosphere, and the graphics are totally original (and the musics too, if I remember correctly but don't quote me on that).
While not exacly new, it has been translated to english only a couple months ago.
Is not a free game though, just the demo.

I was playing a Touhou RPG on RM2k3, and it's supposed to parody Final Fantasy. I can't say it's great, in terms of mapping, but I've only played a little.

To be honest, I haven't played an RM in a while, too.

I'm currently playing Melolune although I'm not far from the game I think it's good so far.
