You just turn your hip. I don't see what's strange in that. It's a very womanish kind of standing, I think. Trying to attract attention or whatnot. ^^

From the hips to the kneecaps, it looks 95% fine. From the kneecaps down, it's nearly impossible to even be comfortable in that pose. Try for yourself.

Then you tell me. Which of these two poses looks more natural? Pose 1 or 2?

Second, of course. :salbrow:

I didn't say it was natural. I said it can be done. :P

Before I put the clothes on her, does this pose look a bit better? I wouldn't mind the shape of the legs too much, since I'm going to be covering them up with clothes and junk - but it's just the general idea anyway, right? XD

Spoiler: show

Oh boy did I mess up on the chin when tracing. I shall fix that later, then. ^_^;;

I really like the first girl's hair and about the 2nd I agree with Ronnie about that but dunno .. the legs seem twice as big as the upper side maybe because the torso is almost as big as the head while it should be twice as the head in height [that is, if I remember right :seraisweatdrop:]. The proportions are a bit akward, but I really like the way you drew her clothes :D

I am sooooo confused... If you'll notice, I changed the pose in my last post. O.oa

If no one says anything about it soon, then I shall put clothes on it anyway. :3 I already started coloring the face and hair. :3

Spoiler: show

(I still have to the make the right ear curvy. O.O)

Definitely more natural-looking. Just add the clothes :)

I am sooooo confused... If you'll notice, I changed the pose in my last post. O.oa

She's talking about the proportions of the body. Usually, your torso is about the size of 2 of your heads (In this case, the torso's just a ~teeny~ bit smaller than it should be if you take the head size into account, or vice versa).

I think the legs are fine overall, though. o_oa Don't your shoulders typically meet up around your knees if you bend over? And if you extend your arms while bending, your hands typically meet your feet/toes.

If no one says anything about it soon, then I shall put clothes on it anyway. :3 I already started coloring the face and hair. :3

Spoiler: show

The new pose looks fine to me, overall. And nice start on the coloring. o:

Yay!
I did start putting clothes on it, since Star told me it was fine (and I read stuff on here).

Thanks about your comment on the coloring. I'm trying new things - especially with the nose. o.O

so here are the proportions .. as much as I can show them :seraisweatdrop:

Spoiler: show

the torso should be bigger than the head in height. Also, her waist is too thin .. it should be as big as the head in width.

About the new pic, aren't her ears a lil' small and a lil' too .. up? Her neck and her eyebrows also seem a bit too thin .. But I have to say, I really like the way you coloured her eyes and lips :D .

I attempted to fix it. Kind of.

I lowered the ears, and tried making the torso longer (which is really hard for me to do with the colors and lines XD). Same thing with the hip (which is also hard). I can probably fix them even further if needed. O.oa I also thickened the neck (but not in a manly way) and the eyebrows. I dunno.  :)

I tried.  :seraisweatdrop:

Spoiler: show

Now that I look at it, I think the right shoulder area should be raised just a little.  ???
