It's the .dll file needed to run the RGSS. 102E is the official/legit version, where as 100J (in the English community) is usually the unofficial hacked/modified version. c:

I thought 100J was the original...? Because the Japanese version of RMXP came before the English version?

I have no idea what the problem is now. Do you have to following files:
engine410R.zlx
engine420R.zlx
engine.rgd

Those three files are old files required to run some functions (but not always working ones) for the game.

(Both the English and Japanese Versions of RMXP are legal, original, but some people have modified the
Japanese version to make a new RMXP, free and easier to understand.)

Oooh I see. Thanks for clarifying that.

And yes, I think I do. I downloaded the game, and ran it without touching anything, really. O_O

Code: [Select]
begin
  $gs3_lib_id = 420
  $gs3_lib_name = "engine.rgd"
if not FileTest.exist?($gs3_lib_name) then print("Could not locate SC RGD engine (#{$gs3_lib_name})! \nThis engine is used for saving and encrypting data. It is also used other file handling processes.\nPlease locate the engine file. Otherwise, please reinstall.")
    exit
  end
There might be something that I might need to relook in there... My brother has a new version of his engine, maybe I should switch to that one :P

OK, the "fire" glitch was a mishap on my part :P

The event consists of three pages, the last two are, in the conditions box, set to Self Switch A on. :P My fault, sorry. I'll upload a new demo tomorrow after I finish debugging the rest!

I've been really neglecting to upload the game, I STILL haven't finished debugging it

Getting there, though ^^

Four posts in a row?! O_o

Click me!

Some things were debugged, but at the end of the demo, you'll see the reason why the demo ends there. Besides, the game is almost over, just a few more maps and battles and you're done >_>

Is that only the end? Has the debugged game been put up yet?

Erm... Well, there's a major script error I'll end up showing later on... It's something with Game_BattleAction, like this one battle will crash for no reason :P Sooo, it's not the end yet

I mean in the thing you just posted up is just a cutscene, not even the opening menu. Did you mean to attach the rest of the game that you've made so far, or was that it for now?

I've snuck back on here to say I'm sorry, it was a problem on my part (starting position is set at the "good" ending :P)

Click Me!

Also, in the Audio folder, you'll see some of the RTP music are MP3s, that was just me fooling around w/a midi converter ^^' It sounds better, but there are looping issues >_>
