Hi everyone! How's it going~

Recently, I've created some kind a mini game for RMXP. I wanted a game where I can use my "final dungeon" tileset of my old game "Ataraxia". I worked hard on that tileset but it gives you the 'charming cold atmosphere' of a dentist's treatment-room... ^^;
So that atmosphere is in the whole game now... XD oh well.



It was build within 3 days *lol* XD~ and has about 12 MB, just like my favourite TML X )
Also, don't look too hard for a story, it doesn't really have one ^^; It just "Is".
I didn't even bother to add original character art. =w=
You might be asking "why the big RO-priest sprite?" - Well that's just 'cause I'm a fool for  big RO priest sprites XD and i simply recicled the one from Ataraxia. ( I don't like the small original RMXP sprites, they TOO SMALL!! >.< )



The game's more like an experiment, to see what kind of effects can be created with RMXP by using various events / what kind of events i can come up with. Light/ shadow effects.
Very simple.

The game has a setting and even various endings depending how you play / what you do... (  i have to add that yet, for the fun of it )
Well, if you wanna give it a try and play it, I'll upload it - this time it shouln't be too much of a problem...
In that case, enjoy the cold, sci-fi atmosphere =w=

( and yes, my old game idea was... super doll maker XP !! XD but then i changed it to 7x7 days... dunnow how to change the file name tho =P )

and finally, here's the 7x7 download - still under the wrong gametitle. don't blame me i'm just as creative as i am ignorant, and ignorance is bliss (if there's nobody who helps you).

To change the name, go to the bar at top, go to 'Game' then select 'Change Title...'

Looks good! gonna have to download this!

EDIT: I started playing it, and it's fun, but is there any objective?

Now, okay, let me introduce you to the game's big and ultimate objective.

You got exactly 49 Days to find a way through the lab / facility.

In other words, 49 Days to find out how to do that.
In the holographic battle simulation you gain exp and "bytes" and maybe more...
you might need it to proceed.

Master Is unable to fight. That's a fact. But he also can't be damaged so easily.
It might be a good idea to check /watch the monitor screens more closely. You might realize something that helps you understand their function.

I really like the room phasing aspect, it's just really cool. :reivsmile: I'm quite confused as to what to do, though - I've been wandering around for quite a while, and in the battles no one damages anyone. I think there should be more of a hook to keep the player playing near the beginning.

Haven't got this yet, but the title reminds me of Kingdom Hearts: 356/2 days :D

This looks positively interesting, though!

Ah, thanks Reives!  ;)

I was hoping that the game can be a little source of inspiration to others too - if just bcause of the effect ideas =w=

and uh, hmm...   
 if you're unable to fight...  better make sure to find someone who does it for you...  :pewpewpew: ( and reading the HINT might help, too x.x i hope... maybe i should add that somewhere ingame, too ;D or write it in a better way. )



EDIT: found and eliminated a silly bug regarding the C-Unit's "upgrade" x.x

i hope you'll find time to play it a little, mepwnn =D

Ah. o: Yeah, putting some hints in-game would definitely help, since many jump straight into it. What was the C-Unit's upgrade bug?

mmmh... i guess i'll think of some appropriate words. =)

the bug was, if you tried to 'install' any new skill from the terminal to your c-unit (after it was upgraded) it learned the wrong (previous version) skill XD

important info: the game is already beatable but there isn't an ending yet ! o_o
i'll add some kind of ending tomorrow ^^;

it took me about 1 hour and 15 minutes playtime, character lvs 14 .
maybe i made it too easy ^^;

Looks good, but that title reminds me an old czech DOS game called 7days 7 nights (Ecchi game). :D
