To me she looks sort of poised & serious. :nairstare:

Yeah...  She's neither happy nor sad, really.  I mean, in the picture.  The expression is kinda... neutral.  Or, let's say, calm or serious.  Whatever, lol.  XD

Thanks for the comments.  I'll add more sketches later.

By the way, yup.  Nose looks wider than it should.  Arwym's nose is not so wide.  Oops.  XD

EDIT:

Mkay!  Some old sketches for ya.  Erm... some I'm not too proud of.  Well, they're just sketches anyway.  Some are from 2007, so yeah.  o_o  Don't take them too seriously.

This is a quickie I drew some days ago to test Pixia.  Not really anything serious.  There's no meaning to it, although I might make a 3D render in Bryce based on this scene, and add a few things to it.

The rest are oldies:

Older version of Deirdre.  Kinda old.

Darem - CRAPPY, old character concept art for a collab webcomic called D3mon Sitting 101.
The story's basically about a guy who meets another guy one day, falls in love with him; then gets a job at his house to babysit his children, only to get a chance be closer to him.  Um, yes.  It's a boy x boy story, but there's no sexual content.  Just random comedy.  Because it happens that the man and the children are demons.  And the story is all about the babysitter having to deal with the little demons' games, jokes and other occurrences.  Darem, this boy, is one of those little demons.

Thanks, Lance!

What did you particularly like about them?  Was it the mood?  The brush strokes?  The style?  (There are some things in common, I guess.)

New drawing.  o___o

I'm particularly proud of how I drew the hair on this one.  Read the description for more info.

Your new drawing is awesome, Arwyn. The texture of the hair looks great. ;D Your old sketches aren't that bad either. They have their own charme.

Thanks, Berkeley.  :)

I'd like to have more opinions about that drawing, or to be more precise, about the character in the drawing.  Like the description says, I wish to give her an identity.

Hmm, I had some drawing projects for this week, but I got a new job!  o___o

It was very unexpected.  I've been working all week, from 8 AM to 5-7 PM (depends, sometimes we stay longer than other days), like a full-time job.  It's basically a temporary graphic artist job.  They needed help to finish a series of... ads for packages of products.  A marketing thing.  They were so late and there was no one around with knowledge and skill on graphic design and photo manipulations.  So mom recommended me (it's for the company she works for), and they hired me for a few days (originally two), but it has been extended, and now I must return next Tuesday to work on some more things.  Apparently they'll make me design a brochure soon as well, because they need to make one for the same project.  So yeah...  I've been using Photoshop like crazy all week.  It has been a very interesting experience!  Not to say that they're paying me for it, and I don't even have a grade in graphic arts or graphic design.  I've worked around 35 hours already.  In 4 days.  o_o

You know what's the best part of all this?  That I'll finally have enough works to build a professional portfolio.  :D  Some web design, web development and graphic design.  And I've been meaning to have a portfolio ready since 2007.  Now I'm a little more prepared, although, there's still a long way to go, many things to learn.  But I'll get there eventually.

The point is that, I've barely had time to do anything else.  I come home and soon after I go to bed and fall asleep.  But I'll try to make and post some new drawings sometime this next Monday.

And that is my life as of recently.  XD

Wow, congratz on that job position! Must be exciting to do something creative for it. c: Hope you have fun and learn lots from the experience. Don't over-work, though; 35 hours in 4 days is a lot. D: It'll tire you out over time.

Yeah, Congratulations on your new job, Arwym. I hope it will pay off for you. :) But as Reives said: don't over-work, because it can get disadvantageous over time.

Speaking of that drawing the woman appears to be free, courageous and determined to me. I think she's a person who goes about problems and wants to change issues to the better.

Thank you very much for the feedback, Melancholy.  Your description of The Traveler is very accurate.  :)

Some new drawings.  I've been practicing.

Thank you!  :)

Here's a first version of the cover page for the comic I'm creating to promote the online RPG I'm developing with my friend Wolfgang (check my profile for a link to the website):

I am still unsure of the color choices, so I really need critique.  Please give me your feedback.  :)

I like it. It's totally cute! :) I'm not quite sure what to think of the colours. The colour of the dress is quite strong, maybe too strong. It doesn't really suits the brown. I guess some colours clash with each other, because they are strong (brown and blue, blue and orange, orange and brown = not a good match, especially if they aren't "softer"). The background (and it's colours) is perfect, though.

I love this! I'm really into the bold colors (sorry, Melancholy dear :P). Orange and blue are actually complementary. ^^ Maybe if you changed the color of the belt, the tunic wouldn't seem so "in your face." (But I like it, so this is just a suggestion to aid people who don't.)
