The film that inspired The Mirror Lied
« on: May 24, 2009, 10:32:45 PM »
Thanks to Dreadsteed, the short's name is identified:

"Why the Anderson Children Didn't Come to Dinner"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0410896/

We really wanna see it (in my case, again), but can't find anywhere that has it. Anyone has any idea? o:

It was one of the strangest things I've seen. Even stranger that it was on the Comedy Network.

Ah, hm. . . I'll probably check to see if the libraries have it and try to get it on hold first. But aye, that's the one. I'll probably check out some other works by that director/team.

I debate watching this...but it might be too TML-like. TML reminds me of the Yellow Wallpaper.

What's with the yellow wallpaper-phobia? It wasn't THAT wierd! (Of course, maybe I got it because of it's overt feminist undertones)
This might hurt, it's not safe / But I know that I've gotta make a change / I don't care if I break,
At least I'll be feeling something

Well from my experiences you can have hobia from everything. Cool is hipopotomonstroseskvipedaliofobie (fear from long words) or hexakosioihexekontahexafobie (fear from number 666)

^ After seeing those looong descriptions, I'm beginning to understand why some people may be afraid of such never-ending words, especially if you're in a profession where it's required to pronounce complicated, sometimes (very) long words perfectly. :o

I'm sorry for being clueless (again), but what do you exactly mean with "Torrents"? ^^'
