Why not? That'd be awesome!

Anyways, I like 'em...
If I could, I'd turn back time, forget it all and leave this mess behind.
If I could, her love would always be around.

Ooh, your techniques are really improving lately. I think the head and hair is very well done, as well as the arm armor thing. The only thing is that the abs and chest seem a bit too shallowly shaded, and the shape could be brought out more. But aye, you're definitely improving.  :gothat!: Keep it up!

are interested in a kind of challenge?  I have a character with a description/appearance no known picture can match <.<
A letter, a word
...
A sentence, a paragraph
...
A page, a story
...
A book, a novel.

They all mean so little when you can't take time to put your soul into the work.

Maybe.. o_o But I'd probably have to see the description before accepting or declining.

I'm entering it in right now.

He is a Lycan so he had a few forms to describe.

it should be fun.

Can't wait to see the art for Revya, she'll be cool looking I bet.

They all look great to my eyes. XD Get that other stuff up soon, please?
This might hurt, it's not safe / But I know that I've gotta make a change / I don't care if I break,
At least I'll be feeling something

The character pic's very nice! The only minor thing is that the head seems to lean forward a bit too much when you stare at that part. But otherwise it looks really great!

The first sprite could use a lot more contrast though, especially on the hair - it's rather blinding right now. The second sprite's right on.

Yeah.. I didn't know what to do about her hair. I agree that it is blinding, but it's supposed to be a -very- pale ice blue/white. Don't really know how I'd be able to change its contrast without affecting its pallidity. :X

Lowering the hue on the shading might work, but I'll have to play around with it to see.
Mm, actually Lunarea might be able to give ya some good tips on what to do with that, let me see if I can get her to check it.

I think she'd look better in-game, too. Her hair blends into the background in the forum. I guess, considering that, she didn't look too bad to me.

Mm, it just seems there're some ways to make it better; I remember seeing sprites with hair of that colour and they had something that mended the blinding factor.

I agree with Reives that there should be an outline to the hair. It would just mesh better with the background.

I think you have 3 choices:
1) Keep the current colors and use a darker blue for the outline.
2) Less overall saturation and a darker shade for the outline.
3) A light gray outline.

I've done a single frame of all 3 options with different backgrounds:

If you want to have the character fit into the RTP, you'll probably want to go with #2, or even reshading to a darker palette - similar to Reivier's but with teal instead of gray.

Edit: It's a bit late tonight, but I can probably take a look at the sprite and reshade it tomorrow so it's more along the RTP lines if you want me to.

Yeah, 2nd option is the better of the 3 in this case.
I modified the old sprite by doing #2 and compared the new one alongside with the old and your modification.

The sprites are as follows:
1) Old sprite, 2) My modification, 3) Your modification.

<_< Ignore the plethora of people in my first cropped screenshot. They're just there to help me test a large party script.

Looking at the 2nd crop, I think they're all pretty liable to blend into a winter background..
Especially the old sprite. And moreso if I set in a fog and/or tint..
