"Where's Waldo" - <Quintessence Edition>
« on: March 22, 2009, 03:18:57 AM »
Whew! Here's a little something for ya guys. I kinda made it spontaneously today after mapping the town (one that appears in Chapter 11 of Quintessence as well as Lyra's Melody's starting village).

For those who aren't familiar with Where's Waldo series, it's basically a large scene where you are to find certain character(s) from.
Should be pretty self-explanatory, so here it goes!:

[ Large file, around 5 MB. ]

Good luck finding everyone! ;)

o: That was surprisingly simple. Took me maybe 5 minutes to find them all, that's including the random bonus mouse. Lunair was questionable, though..

In the for of, ?Heath?, down below the thatched roof house with the chimney.  Close by one of the few dead trees at the bottom of the picture.
OR
She is the black bird on the dead tree above where Revier is when he is heading off into the woods

8. Vikon

9. Serai

That's all of them...

EDIT: I also found a few more missing tile pieces...

Here's mine. Red means final answers while violet are the possibilities.

Spoiler: Don't even try to see unless you are done. Cheating is a big no-no.  • show

or maybe Lunair is away since Rayne is there.

The map looks great. Although, finding Lunair was difficult.

Nothin' much, huh?

Spoiler: show
I suspected both Heath and the bird before I even looked at the responses.

But I am ashamed to admit, I did not find the bonus. :(
This might hurt, it's not safe / But I know that I've gotta make a change / I don't care if I break,
At least I'll be feeling something

I found the bonus before the other tribal person... now im just looking for errors in the tiles themselves... it's alot harder and more entertaining...

I found the bonus, though I kept seeing mapping errors that looked a lot like the mouse. Also, Lunair is in the form of a black hawk, right? I'm sure she's not in that image in human form (I have my ways of being absolutely sure, they involve photoshop)

Lol, that's a pretty clever way. :p

Spoiler: show
Yes, Lunair was intended to be the black hawk.

Nice job everyone. Looks like I'm gonna have to make it harder next time! In the future I might release some kind of package that allows you to make these yourself, it's pretty fun.
