Saving in the middle of text
« on: April 19, 2011, 09:43:17 AM »
I know I might be able to allow saving in the middle of text by setting a conditional branch if something is pressed that will cause Save screen to open up, but one thing I've noticed is that if you save in the middle of the text, if you load that save again, it will cause the entire dialogue to repeat again, and sometimes cause major crashes if you accidentally turned on a switch that prevents that event from being interacted with again. So are there any fixes to this?

There shouldn't be a problem -- If you have dialogues going on and a parallel event for opening save window whenever the player presses a button, the trigger will only activate when dialogue window is not active. Did you try it and that happened, or are you just speculating?

If I use the "Open Save Window" game command, it'll happen.
