Gah a noob question.

I know in rm2k3, there was a "Wait until spacebar pressed" option for "Wait", so I had no problems with this. But how do I produce the same thing in RMXP?

I guess you could do a conditional branch where the condition is "If [key] is being pressed" then have the rest of the event inside the branch. I haven't tried this out myself, but it should work.

And if you don't want anything to be happening while it waits, do an else handler for that conditional branch that loops wait one frame or something. Haven't tested it, either, but that sounds about right?

Yep, just do:

Loops
Wait 5 frames
---Conditional Branch: Enter/C is held down
------Exit Loop
---End Conditional Branch
End Loop

Wow RMXP sure makes everything troublesome... But I guess people just go for higher resolution.

RMXP is considerably harder to use, but to be honest, I think it's all worth it in the long run.
