@Thula: woah O.O good catch, i totally never realized that, i just thought that some of them were shifted over (so some that should be on the right are now on the left), but it's completely off. ...i'm even more confused now  :reivsweat:

EDIT: okay, i figured that part out. I made a new fog cuz i added a bit on the bottom so the lighting event could be where it should be, and i deleted the parts that were on the ceiling. so i'm good with that. it's just the fog placement that i'm worried about. you bring up a good point, though. Do fogs start at 0,0 on the map?

@lunarea: you have to pay for that one  D: i'm gonna check around on the paint.NET forums for it.

No, you don't  ;)

The link to download it is just above the donate button. It's a free download, though.

I don't know if you have resoveld this yet, but I've found a script by modern algebra that fixed pictures to maps, unfortunately it is for RMVX only, but I think you might ask to convert it.
Here it is, if you're intrested.

Good luck.

no, it hasn't been resolved yet, as apparently every one is actually overlooking the question i asked (i'm looking for placement of the fog, not that my circles are bad ). maybe i'll look at the script, maybe not. i feel meh right now

The placement of the fog is right - it's because the fogs are wrong that it seems like that it's misplaced.

There are two things that I can think of:
-Picture is messing it up somehow
-Fog looping errors?

I don't know, sorry

Hold on, I take that back. But there's no error at all when I use that fog in that room?:

The only possibility that I can think of is that you used another fog on that map at one point in the game - a moving one at that. If you use a fog that moves, and then on the same map (without leaving that map) switch to another fog that's still, its positions will be displaced by the previous fog's changed position from moving.

So just make sure no other events on that map does anything with fogs, and the only fog command you use is one that brings that fog up with 0 movement.
