If it's localized to the pledges, I'm not too worried.

I'm where Andau has his flashback. The game goes on error saying I don't have a sound file  :o

Yeah the problematic audio file is called 05 - Valse SymonGé¼ n-¦1 Pour Rafa+½l

Seems like it has a bastardized title...

I have a French language package installed, so I don't get the issue myself. And it can sometimes occur even with a fresh version of the audio file.

The simplest way to fix it (for now at least) is to rename the problematic file to whatever the error message is saying that's missing.

As soon as I get a bit of free time, I will release a version with the re-named files that should remedy the problem in the future. The fix involves changing the audio file name and then going back to change it in the game itself - which takes a while given that the music plays and replays in several scenes. So, I have to find a couple free hours to do it  :'(

^ Ditto! 8)
Spoiler: show
I've expected the Laurel vs. Ketsu twist for a long time, but hey, it's still entertaining.

I think my favorite part gameplay-wise was the prison break. Loved the puzzles! And the writing in this arc is the best yet (minus the inevitable cheese). The courtroom scenes were particularly well done---both arguments were believable. Fortunately for us, the bickering between counselors I've so often seen in court was left out. Haha.

Lunarea, good job with the spriting! I don't know exactly how you helped out there, but since your name's in the credits, I want to give you your well-deserved kudos. Please give Volrath and ArtBane and everyone else my thanks and best wishes for the future! :)

Indeed!

Spoiler: show
Yeah, it's getting a big cheesy with the "ooh! look! not only did the villain get wings, which is a rare occurrence, but in the very same arc another person does too!" The voyd fight was fun, thuogh

And you're right, the courtroom scene was very well done.

I thought master of the wind was boring and repetitive, I don't see why it's got so many fans.

I didn't create MotW, so I can't speak for Volrath and ArtBane. But I will say that different games appeal to different people. There are people posting that very same comment about Quintessence in other forums (only it's something like "why do people praise Quintessence's story when the plot is very stupid). Yet Quintessence has a lot of fans that love it.

MotW appeals to a lot of people for various reasons. It's not your favorite and that's fine. But it's a favorite of a lot of people.

Okie, oh don't think I'm bashing you. Think of it more like, your favorite food is peanut butter and I said I hate peanut butter. lol
