To the Moon - Discussions / Re: john & nicolas talking in the cafeteria

Despite welcoming the no-cost options, the quality of lunch meals offered at the islandís public schools continues to be a stomach-turning topic for many.

Despite the unwelcoming no-cost option, the quality if the banhammer offered at this forum's public board continues to be a crushing topic for many bots.

To the Moon - Discussions / probable plot of the franchise

someone else realized that in the end, when Neil is leaving to meet his new patient .. the screen flashes in red, as it happened before in the mind of Johnny

then it would not be probable that there, it was denounced that the "reality" in fact would not be the reality, but rather that everything happens in the creation of a new reality for the end of the life of Neil

To the Moon - Discussions / Re: General Discussion.

Just wanted to let you know that, since I managed to solve the problem I had with To the Moon (Thanks to Eli), I started a Let's Play on my Youtube channel. It's not blind, since I know the game like the back of my hand, and it's in French. I'm mostly doing this to get people to know this game, and other Freebird Games (Haven't met anyone in real life who knows about it). And soon of course, I'll do the minisodes (Semi-blind), A Bird Story (Blind), and will probably do a LP of Finding Paradise as soon as it gets out. I might not have a great amount of subs (I'd say that 16 is pretty low), but I'll try and spread it as much as I can.

To the Moon - Discussions / Re: New Ringtones?

The only way to hear it is to play as Eva and follow the kids to the lighthouse at the beginning. I agree with Neil's ringtone. My fave one out of all of them.   :music:

To the Moon - Meta / Re: Sheet Music - To the Moon (Ending Version)

Now that the piece is "done" and I'm able to take a step back and look at it from a big picture view, some of the remaining issues are starting to come together and make a bit more sense.  For one, almost all of the 3/4 measures seem suspect.  I did a lot of "cheating" on those with tempo tweaks in order to get them to fit.  I'm not sure if I can make a blanket statement to say that ALL of them are actually 4/4, but it would make sense if they were.  The 5/4 measures really do seem to be mostly correct, especially at the ends of phrases.

Problematic measures:
3, 5, 21, 22, 25, 26 (beat 4) , 40, 43, 44, 47, 48, 49, 53 (5/4 -> 4/4), 55 (LH, beat 2), 59, 60 (3/4, right hand straight 32nd's -> 4/4 16th triplets), 63 (beat 4)

To the Moon - Meta / Sheet Music - To the Moon (Ending Version)

I just joined to share something I've been working on for several months now, a sheet music transcription of the Ending Theme.  I know there are sheets available for a couple of the other versions of the "For River" theme, but I couldn't find a good one of the Ending Version.  I know it still needs a bit of work in a few measures (that heavy rubato, as beautiful as it is, is a nightmare to transcribe -cuss- ), but I think it's mostly correct.  I welcome any feedback or corrections, and I do plan to continue tweaking things until it's perfect (or as close as I can get).

General / Re: Why are there no serious space sci fi shows on television?
« Last post by Morrison3P on June 19, 2019, 05:52:25 AM »
Some random reasons I can think of:

1) We had a big hype for space when the first moon landing was, greatly broadening the audience at that time for anything space-related

2) the TV is more and more a tool for an older demographic, so you are more likely to find sci-fi in other mediums (games, streaming services and such)

3) (a bit similar to 1) the novelty of space-travel has faded a bit, so other topics of science-fiction are currently more popular

Few TV genres are as tricky to get right as the science-fiction series. Lost in Space is an American science fiction web television series blue stacks

It's like discussing left-wing vs right-wing IRL, it depends on each one's opinion kroger feedback.

holy mother of god

some of these human faces are actually so cringy to look at
I HAD to try to fix these up a bit

The trick is to first flip the picture horizontally in an image editing program. Then it will be as if looking at the picture from a stranger's eyes. This will help amplify the flaws in the artist's eyes, which have already previously adjusted to their own creation.
