Title: Is the new "Goldilocks" planet capable of supporting life!?
Post by: Avaleaux on October 22, 2010, 09:40:52 AM
Hello everyone, not to long ago astronomers have found what they call a great scientific discovery. They have found a planted other than ours that is capable of independently supporting life! Unfortunately, the astronomers can't see far through its atmosphere and cannot determine whether or not there is liquid water on the planet.
But if there is....this could be one of the most incredible discoveries ever!

The planet is said to be closer to its star than ours, making tempratures durring the summer reach up to 160 degrees to 25 below 0 in the winter. however, the planet rotates very slowly, making the sides of the planet that arent directly facing the sun reach perfect temprature of 50-90 degrees for the spring and fall. Do you think there is life on this new planet? Do you think that if there is, there could possibly be Intelligentlife on it as well?

Why not? It shouldn't be impossible.
The universe is big enough to create more than one chance for life.

One thing man. I presume you're in F scale.

And about this planet... It was allways only a matter of time. :P
