Title: How do you feel about the Oil impact over the Gulf?

People need to stop giving up and actually focus on saving. Eventually,  every single river, lake, and stream will be contaminated, following up  with oceans all thanks to some oil leakage. We gotta do act fast!

Honestly, as much as I feel bad about the  terrible environmental impact, "I told you so" is the only response I  can muster to people who support off-shore drilling.

It won't last much longer, we have only a few decades worth of oil left.

The problem is that this could have been avoided if they were prepared for this. And it is always possible that something like this happens and it has happened before. It must become mandatory for companies like BP to make sure that they are prepared for any kind of catastrophe BEFORE they build an oil rig. But of course they don't, because that would cost money.

I don't like the fact that BP wasn't able to cap it quickly, the device that was eventually proposed after several weeks of oil being leaked, could be thought of by a ten year old!

And its so funny because there are 3 gas stations on the road to my house and for every 5 people at quick-trip and Citco, theres one person at BP.
