About the Linux port
This native port uses mkxp which is written by Jonas Kulla (Ancurio) and is covered under the GPL version 2.0.
This port has been prepared by me, although to be fair, %99.9 of the work is actually done by Ancurio.
This port also uses other open source software that are listed with their licenses in the "legal" folder.Download Quintessence (Chapters 1-11) for Linux
(Please note that Quintessence is incomplete, it was planned to have three more chapters and it is currently on a hiatus).Save files
Save files are located in the following path:
You may notice that there is also an "Auto-Save Archives" folder in there. In order to use those auto-save files you should copy them from there to the quintessence folder (the same path mentioned above) and rename them to Save1.rxdata, Save2.rxdata or Save3.rxdata.Differences with the Mac port
The only difference with the Mac port is the fact that I had to convert the midi files to ogg, since I did not have a prebuilt binary of libfluidsynth needed to play those midi music.
The ogg files sound pretty accurate because they were converted using QuickTime Synthesizer which sounds almost exactly the same as the one used by RPG Maker on Win.
If someone kindly sends me libfluidsynth both in 32 and 64-bit, I will package this port with the original midi files instead.
