Music from that Tumbles guy.
« on: June 01, 2012, 11:21:01 PM »
I thought I might make one big thread for my music instead of lots of little ones.

Most of these are just one-takers, but if you like any of my originals and feel like putting them in a project of yours, let me know and Iíll do a more professional recording. Free of charge! Because Iím nice like that. Also humble.  ;D

DOUBLE POST. Because I was just being silly in that first one.

Liking "Dysphoria" a lot. It has a simple background quality. I could see you layering some other instruments on this and have a really powerful/touching piece.

The other stuff I've already listened to a few times, so my opinion has already been announced as favorable.

Thanks!  Mmm, I came up with it a few months ago and it seems to be different every time I play it. For example, I have no idea what that happy bit in the middle was.  XD I always pictured it at the main title screen for a slightly sad game.

Put up "A Single Beat of the Heart" and "Bad Mood."

Hehe, I only put those in the original post to force myself to put them up sometime.  :salbrow:

Loving Dysphoria.  It has a reflective, melancholy feel to it.  I have done a bit of theatrical sound design, and I can imagine so many uses for a piece like this.  Also enjoyed your arrangement of For River quite a bit.  You have great dynamics.

Thanks, that means a lot.  If I ever learn how to use my Yamaha recording thingy, I'll make sure to get some good ones done.

I was looking for the other originals but Dysphoria was the only one there. xD I like this tune, and I'd love to hear more of your poriginals! ;)

I like Dysphoria so much, even though it's a bit depressing to listen to. Fitting title, I guess. :P

I actually played it yesterday in a major key, to make it happy, you know. It just sounded silly.

I just uploaded a video of me playing a version of For River on just one guitar, just in case you're not sick of it yet. THEY SAID IT COULDN'T BE DONE.

So check it out if you've got 2 minutes to spare. It doesn't sound so great, since it's my nylon strings instead of steel, but whatevs. Also, it's a one-taker!

I got fresh hot tabs if anyone wants them.

I like it, what's the difference in the strings?
Old River was as dead as a doornail, this must be distinctly understood or nothing wonderful can come of the story I am about to relate.

I've had these ones for 7 or so years. O_O That and what Lance said. It's usually my practice guitar.

And thanks, guys.
