« on: December 05, 2011, 06:01:32 AM »

First would you be so kind and tell us hardware and software specifications of your computer (OS, CPU, Graphical card etc.)?

CPU? is that a laptop you're using? I remeber laptops having issues with framerate. Also did you tried alt+enter and play the game without fullscreen?
Closed all unnecesary applications? (Wow this reminds of old days :D)

Ok, i've tried it all (fullscreen/windowed included), and yes it's a laptop.
But i might have come up to a solution: I installed the game on my external HDD.  ???
It worked!

No idea why... i just did it and that was it.
Thanks for your time Lance!! :)

No problem. :)

Mmmm. Yeah strange things happens sometimes maybe because your internals HDDs cache are to small. (I dunno just wild guess)

Also there is golden rule of all gamers: Never have the OS and a game on a same drive (which is especially hard with laptops)

Nope, after half an hour of smooth gaming, it started stuttering and then it became unplayable.... oh well, i'll play it on my other computer. Thanks anyway, though :seraisweat:

I know this is years old now but I had the same issue recently and managed to fix it so thought I'd leave a post here for anyone else experiencing the issue. When I first started playing the game it ran fine with now issues but then when I started to boot it it would like like crazy whenever dialogue was displayed.

They released a beat patch that seems to have fixed the issue for me. If you are using Steam, right-click the To The Moon game and go to properties. Then navigate to the Betas section where you can select the beta named 'alternative'. It's a quick download and should hopefully solve your problem :)
