Very cool :D you're getting particularly good with the poses, Toast -- it all looks so natural, and the proportions are quite neat as well.

Thanks, Reives! It's still a little hit-or-miss with the poses, but I'm super happy with my progress recently  People-watching is a useful hobby, I guess  :P

Once every blue moon, Neil looks entirely professional and not like a dork. Until recently, this phenomenon remained largely undocumented, but now we managed to record high-quality footage of nature's miracle unfolding.

Well, a wip of that phenomenon:

Y'know, Mobb, I think I should get around to drawing you! Are there any other drawings of your avatar besides your profile that include your body as well?

No, you should probably not, for there's not really any good references because I only drew this head because I wanted a neat avatar and was listening to Professor Layton at the time. Also, I just updated to the new one, which I drew after rewatching some Adventures of Tintin.

My feelings about this drawing are probably best described as "culture shock". The contrast of clothing, vegetation, landscape and even lighting is very apparent. However, the girls are dressed like they would belong to each other's environment, not to their current one.

Teach me your colours, senpai. My inferior brush is ready.

Nice observations :3 that was intentional! But the landscape for where I live is like that, so it's ordinary to me. What is your part of the world like, Mobb?

The landscape where you live is like which one? Or both? o.O

My part of the world has these huge cliffs where antarctic ice breaks off and sinks into the warm water of the globally warmed oceans. My home is going to get wrecked in a few months at this rate, but luckily I am in the process of moving much farther inland.

From what little I can see, it seems the "big" landscape is a little hilly, with large rocks scattered about. The "mirror" landscape is lush green and no visible hills or rocks. If it weren't for the deciduous and sakura trees, I couldn't assign them to any continent to begin with, since all over the world there's hills and plains alike, often next to each other, even.

I live on a small island with beautiful scenery *is currently in a messy urban area*

... I'm looking at the good side of things.
