Hello, I am new here, but I would like to translate the game in Latvian, but I don`t know if that is needed and how many people from our country would use. So I would only do this if it won`t create difficulties or consume a lot of your time.

Hello. I have been loking everywhere but found no answer. I'm trying to translate this game in Romanian language but I need the Data folder, which I understood is in another version of the game. Where can I get that version? Thanks.

I get this error when I try to export the dialogue file directly from my "To the moon" folder:

"To the Moon dialogue file (plain text)
TtM v1.2, DMK XP v4.9.1
dialogues_dmk4_9_1_ttm1_2.zip"

I'm just getting a 404 File Not Found link here. Is it just me for some reason? Has it been taken down on purpose? If so, I would love for someone to share it to me.

Hello, lovely TtM community :-3

I'm dealing with an important project about the localization/translation of this game, and I want to take a look at the plain text file. I sent  a PM to SenorKaffee, but he does not connect since August T.T Could some benevolent soul share it to me?

Thank you in advance! (:

The file that contains dialogues is available somewhere in the forums, but searching for it could be problematic, so I sent it via PM.

What is this "important project" you mentioned?

Hi, I like game To the Moon and I would like to translate it to czech language. Unfortunately, I need unencrypted version of the game (plus unencrypted version of SigCorp - Holiday Special). I would be very happy, if anyone could send me those files. Thank you very much!

Btw. I have Steam version of the game.

The only person who can provide you with the mentioned files is the author himself. You may want to contact him through a private message to make sure he knows about your request.

I connected to my old email account and saw a notification for this thread. I'm glad to see people are still using DreaMaker. :)

I also see that I received a MP from fcoldstar from almost 2 years (2013 February), I'm copy pasting the answer publically so other people can see it.

Hello, I have translated several games such as Yume2kki and Ib made by RM2000.  I found DMK a very useful tool.
However, the new version 4.9.1 can't read RM2000 games any more.  The version 3.8 can do so, but it cannot read text included in common events, items, etc.  Neither can it read the text in"Change Hero Name" command.
Will these prolems be fixed in new version of DMK?  About what time will it be released?

Thank you very much for your hard work on this tool!

DreaMaker XP 4.9.1 is the last version of DreaMaker, and it's compatible only with DreaMaker XP.
RM2K / RM2K3 have a completely different data structure, so it's not compatible at all with DreaMaker XP. However, DreaMaker could be adapted to work with RMVX / RMVX Ace projects.

I'm no longer updating DreaMaker, but the full source code is available in the archive of the last version DreaMaker XP 4.9.1(just install the software and look inside the various folders).

DreaMaker XP 4.9.1
Compatible with RMXP.
Final official version, 1 500 downloads.
http://www.mediafire.com/download/zr7avi8j9wvdrvz/DreaMaker_XP-v4.9.1.rar

DreaMaker XP 3.8
Compatible with RM2K and RM2K3
Final official versions, 4 700 downloads.
English : http://www.mediafire.com/download/ityyohzjzmn/DreaMaker-v3.8.zip
German : http://www.mediafire.com/download/2hjumtizznj/DreaMaker-v3.8-German.zip
Spanish : http://www.mediafire.com/download/mrwiwtttto4/DreaMaker-v3.8-Spanish.zip

I spent around 3 000 hours on DreaMaker (I worked on it every day, even during lunch during several years and write down every hour in my logs).

In fact I quit the RPG Maker development around 2009, because it was a passion rather than a real job ; it wasn't possible to me to make money from this job, no matter how many time I put into it. And it was before people heard about indie games (before Braid and Minecraft).
I came back a bit to help Reives and SenorKaffee (german translator) by making new versions of DreaMaker.

Then I continued my studies and worked 3 years as a professional video game developer (business and communication) on an heroic fantasy RPG named Prodigy (I made all the structure of the Kickstarter presentation and all the business model of the Kickstarter rewards) (I'm a crowdfunding specialist by the way).

Now I'm working on an indie game, a sandbox god game with spaceships and robotics AI, entirely made of cubes.

The full album

I'm still friend with a lot of french indie makers, and I'm working with some of them to create a french indie scene to put our games on (RPG Maker / Multimedia Fusion / Unity / etc). My game and the french indie scenes are my two main activities, I'm working full time on them.

So as you can see, my work is no longer directly related to RPG Maker.
There would still be some important work to do on DreaMaker like managing asian characters, but I'm no longer available to do it. Feel free to use the source code of DreaMaker, and if you have questions I can still answer it (I still remember how the main parts of the stuff work). :)

I saw from far that Reives is still making games, I hope things will go well for him, the team, the fans and all the translators. :D

Everything is going fine here ^^
Your program was a big help for our translation work.

Also your "God is a cube"-project is very interesting, hope to see more from that ^^
Even if you are nothing more than a drop in a bucket...
Every drop leaves ripples.
