Surprisingly accurate team-role quiz
« on: July 17, 2016, 12:27:55 PM »
So a few years ago I did this thing called the Belbin questionnaire. It was for a personal development lesson, and gives you an idea on what sort of team roles you'd be suited for. It is a little bit complex to do but surprisingly accurate, atleast for me.

My two roles are IMP and ME. I'd be interested to see what others got and whether you feel it was accurate from the description.

The accuracy of the test does rely on you being honest with your answers though, as with any test to do with personality.

I got PL. Really accurate, except for the strong reaction to criticism and praise (I usually don't care about those) and the radicalism of my ideas (I always look for the best solution for everyone, so that no one feel offended).
Also, :plat:

This test confirms that I am not good nor bad at most things, yey!
Seriously, though, I got several close results, and I dare say that this is correct. I've filled quite some (widely different) roles throughout my becoming, with varying success.

My top result was Plant, which describes me really well.

Second, with only one point less, was Completer-Finisher, which also describes me well, other than the "seldom start what they cannot finish" part.

My primary preferred role is completer-finisher at 32 points. The characteristics are mostly true, but I don't prefer to tackle all tasks myself; seems illogical in a team work environment (i.e. timely completion is impossible).

My secondary preferred is implementer at 21 points. I'd say about half (of the characteristics) matches my behavior.

My runner-up is plant at 14 points. That's kind of amusing since the characteristics seem directly opposed to the traits of the implementer, but I'm probably(?) somewhere in between implementer and plant.

Shaper gets a pitiful 3 points from me. FeelsBadMan.

Personality tests are always fun to take. It gives me a chance to reflect on myself, which is nice to have since I don't habitually do so. Thanks for sharing this questionnaire.

Thanks for sharing this.  I hadn't heard of this test before.

My primary role is Plant, with 27 points.  The runner-up is Completer-Finsher, with 16, followed by Monitor Evaluator at 11.

Seems to match pretty well with what I know about myself, for the most part.
